ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Halifatu Farr Yakubu, a First-Class graduate in Information Technology Management from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). I’m deeply passionate about cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and digital literacy. I love exploring how systems work and how to make them stronger, safer, and more resilient.
I’ve completed the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and hold ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications. My hands-on experience spans vulnerability assessments, penetration testing labs, and an internship with Coldsis Ghana Limited, where I contributed to frontend development and data management projects.
As a public speaker and former Women’s Commissioner for ITSA-UPSA, I’ve organized cybersecurity awareness programs, led workshops, and delivered tech talks, making complex security concepts simple and relatable for different audiences.

WinInstall: a Windows Management Automation Tool
June 2025
Developed a Python and PowerShell-based automation tool that installs, upgrades, and activates Windows and Microsoft Office applications. It also performs system optimization, data backup, and software deployment tasks.
IT Guardian, Security and Support Chatbot
October 2025
I Designed and built an interactive AI-powered IT Security & Support Chatbot using Google’s Gemini API and Tailwind CSS. The chatbot assists users with cybersecurity awareness, phishing detection, basic troubleshooting, and IT support guidance. Integrated smooth animations, dark/light theme toggle, and a responsive UI suitable for all devices.
Student Portal Vulnerability Assessment
March 2025
Conducted a manual and automated vulnerability assessment using Nmap, Nikto, and OWASP ZAP. Identified insecure configurations and delivered a detailed risk report with remediation recommendations.
Web Application Penetration Testing Labs

Practiced ethical hacking using DVWA, Juice Shop, and TryHackMe to exploit vulnerabilities like XSS and SQL Injection. Followed OWASP Top 10 and documented responsible disclosure reports.
